This financial management workshop led by Buford and Kim Martin is a 2 day interactive class. The instructors will help you understand the basics accounting functions and the financial statements used in the business.
You will learn how the financial statements tell a story and how to use this data to manage and improve the success of your business. They will provide opportunities for group learning and one and one assistance.
- Basic bookkeeping terms and responsibilities
- Understanding common accounting language: Chart of Accounts
- What is a Balance Sheet?
- What is a Profit and Loss Statement?
- How financial statements help the company make Management decisions
- Understand the difference between cash flow and profits
- Learn how to prevent a cash shortage
- Learn how to measure results and improvements against Key
- Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Learn how your CRM systems integrates with QuickBooks
- Learn how to use financial data to correctly price your major repairs and
- replacements
- Owner/CEO/President
- Other: CFO, bookkeeper, other financial staff
- It is always useful to bring a laptop or tablet with you to a training course.
- Please have a way to access your financials for use throughout the course as well as your QuickBooks
- The trainers will provide spreadsheets and templates for use throughout the course.
- A catered lunch will be available for attendees for each day of the course.
Cancellation and No Show Policies:
Late Cancellation
Service Nation Alliance and Premier Workshops/Tours
Service Nation Alliance members may attend standard Alliance training courses at no charge. Premier classes, however, have a cover fee for all participants, including members and non-members. If you are unable to attend a training course, please notify us at least 7 days prior to the event. If notified less than 7 days prior to the event, you will be charged a late cancellation fee equal to the total cost of the class.
Retail Contractor Coalition, Service Roundtable, Associate, and Non-Members
If you have paid to attend a training course, please notify us at least 7 days prior to an event if you are unable to attend for a 100% refund of your registration fee. If notified less than 7 days prior to the event, you will be charged a late cancellation fee equal to the total cost of the class.
No Show
Service Nation Alliance
If you are registered for this event and do not attend, you will be charged a no-show fee equal to the total cost of the class.
Retail Contractor Coalition, Service Roundtable, Associate, and Non-Members
If you are registered for this event and do not attend, you will be charged a no-show fee equal to the total cost of the class.
To Cancel Attendance
To cancel attendance for any training event, call 469-293-8820 or send an email to sntraining@servicenation.com including the course title, start date, and the registrant's first and last name.
Online Course Registration Policy
Registration fees for online courses are non-refundable.
Class Cancellation Policy
On occasion, due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond our control, a class may have to be canceled. We will avoid these cancellations if at all possible.
One of the causes of a canceled class may be low enrollment. If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment (which can differ by class and circumstance) by two weeks prior to the start date, Service Nation, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the class. You can help prevent this situation by enrolling in classes early.
In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified, and any funds paid will be refunded.
