What Does It Cost?
The Service Roundtable only costs $50 per month for HVAC or for Plumbing, or for Electrical, or for any of our new trade markets. That’s
it. No catches. No surprises.
And if you want to add another trade (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical or any other) it only costs $25 more for each trade. That’s a savings of 50%!
Is There An Initiation Fee?
The Service Roundtable does not have an initiation fee, first year membership fee,
start-up, or any other first year fee. The Service Roundtable costs $50 per month for
a single trade. Adding a second trade costs $25. Adding a third trade only costs another $25 No catches. No surprises.
How Can So Much Cost So Little?
How can the Service Roundtable do it? It’s simple.
Because the programs are Internet based, delivery and production costs
are kept low. The primary expense is content development. The
development expenses are spread across a large number of members,
keeping the individual membership costs low.
The Service Roundtable is volume based.
Yet, even with volume, the cost of the program would be prohibitive
without the use of the Internet. A program like the Service Roundtable
would cost thousands of dollars a month. In fact, many alliances that
offer far less than the Service Roundtable charge contractors tens of
thousands. The Service Roundtable only costs $50 per month.
Why will the Service Roundtable work better for you?
The Service Roundtable is built upon two fundamental principles. The first is bite-sized
programs. Face it. Big, all- encompassing programs do not work well. Contractors do not have
the time or personnel to implement big programs, which require a sustained effort. The
Service Roundtable is different. You can get your arms around the Service Roundtable.
Each element is sent separately. Each can be easily implemented, especially with short
usage notes (less than a page in length) provided by the Service Roundtable.
The second principle is desktop delivery. You do not have to travel to receive full benefits from the Service Roundtable. There are no hidden travel costs. There is no need to leave the office. The Service Roundtable comes to you, every day, 24 hours a day. Whenever you have time and are ready, the Service Roundtable is there.
With the Service Roundtable, a stream of tools, ideas, and information comes flowing
past your desk. See something you like? Grab it. Use it without the need to shut down
your company for a week. Start benefiting immediately. Don’t see anything you want? Just
wait. More will be coming… each week… each month… each year.
Can More Than One Person Per Company Sign Up?
With your membership in the Service Roundtable, you receive three memberships for a
single location.
One is a master membership. As a master account holder, you can add two more
subaccounts. The extra memberships allow you to offer a membership to two others
in your company, such as your service manager, your sales manager, your office manager,
etc.
What If I Operate Across Multiple Locations?
If you operate with multiple locations, each location is required to purchase its
own membership. Your membership gives you a "site license" for all Service Roundtable
material. Special pricing is available for multiple locations.
What If I Can't Use Or Have No Interest In Some Of The Content?
No one will be able to use everything provided by the Service Roundtable. There’s
simply too much. Not everything will be needed by every contractor. Not everything will
apply to every contractor. Not everything will appeal to every contractor. If something
won’t work for you, don’t worry about it. More will be coming next week and the week after
that. It’s a stream of material. It’s like an all-you-can-eat buffet. You don’t have to
eat everything on the buffet to get more than your money’s worth.
What Happens To The Material I'm Using If I Leave The Service Roundtable?
Let’s be upfront. When you enroll, you are licensed to use any and
all Service Roundtable content however you want as long as you remain a
member in good standing. Should you leave the Service Roundtable, you
may no longer use Service Roundtable material.
Is There Anything I Need To Buy?
The standard software for the Service Roundtable is Microsoft Office®
for Small Business. You will need Word, Excel, and especially Publisher.
Publisher is a low cost, but powerful, and easy to use desktop publishing
package. Publisher comes standard with many versions of Microsoft Office,
but not all versions. If you need to purchase it separately, the program
is normally available in any software store, or can be purchased online.
Many of the templates we create for you are built with Microsoft Publisher.
We selected Microsoft Publisher because it is easy to use, widely available,
inexpensive, integrates well with the other Microsoft products, and is
used by printing companies such as Kinko's. With Publisher, it is easy to download one of
the Service Roundtable templates, modify it with your own Microsoft
Publisher software, and send it to a printer. Or, if you want, just
email the template to the printer. They should have the software to modify
it to your specifications.

Dial-Up Internet Connection?
Sure. The Service Roundtable is designed around 56K dial- up

I'm Not An HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical Contractor. Can I Join?
Sure. If you own another service business,
you can join the Service Roundtable. You will find much that
you can use, especially if you’re willing to modify it. However, content
is designed around our existing trade markets. We will be adding other service industries in
the future.
What About Residential New Construction and Commercial Or Industrial?
The Service Roundtable is focused on the residential service and replacement business.
We have many members who are residential new construction contractors who want to add or
enhance their service business. We also have members who are pure commercial contractors
and figured they would give the Service Roundtable a try since it only cost $50 and remained
because they find enough of value within the Service Roundtable to justify the cost.
However, the focus is residential service and replacement.
